Movin' On Up (the calendar that is)

So, the latest trip to the doctor prompted me asking to schedule the "Big Day" officially, so we could make plans  (One of the wonderful advantages of a planned C-Section) which got my doctor looking at my chart with me.  After looking at this, we discovered that I had my due date incorrect....it really is February 23 not March 1!!  Therefore, Baby Jennings #2 (aka Duce) will be born Thursday, February 17 at 7:30am at Allen Presbyterian Hospital.  Whoo-hoo!!

Growing up so FAST

My precious little boy is not so little any more!! Monday, Will got a BIG haircut!!! Mommy finally bit the bullet and told them to chop it off...he of course loves it, but I do have to admit, he looks much, much older and it hurts my heart just a bit to see him look so grown up!

The pumpkin houses were done differently from last year and WOW!! Beautiful.

Of course, a trip wouldn't be complete without animals!! This picture is a bit blurry, but I love the expression on his face!!

Pumpkin Weekend: Day 4: Halloween

DSC_0064

We finished up our Pumpkin Weekend with a trip and a sleepover at Nini’s house.  We had a blast trick-or-treating in her neighborhood!  Will didn’t want to go at first…said he had enough candy and didn’t need to go. However, as soon as the  first trick-or-treater came to the door, he realized what he was missing and ran to put on his costume!!

Once he started, he didn’t want to stop.  He was determined to get “enough candy for Daddy”.  He was sure not to take too much from each house.  One sweet couple offered him 5 pieces of candy, “because he was so cute,” but Will refused saying, “No thank you, too much candy makes your tummy hurt!!”  Priceless!!!

We hung with the big kids and lasted about an hour! He was the hit of the neighborhood with his sweet manners and cheerful attitude.

I am so proud of the sweet boy he is!!

Pumpkin Weekend: Day 3: Pumpkin Carving Party

We spent Day 3 at our friends the Sim’s house for our Establishing a Legacy Bible Fellowship Pumpkin Carving Party.  We had a wonderful time with everyone!  We are very blessed with such wonderful friends and fellowship from church!

Mommy and Will carving the pumpkin….we sure missed Daddy…not nearly as good without him, but we did our best. Last year we won the prize for the best carving…this year, we did good to get one carved at all.  Hey, we sure had fun trying, that was all that was important.
