Stroller for 3

I'm catching up on blog posts today (can't you tell)  Anyway, this was too funny not to post.  Don and I have begun our family walks again and Will insisted that we bring the dogs on this one.  Halfway through our walk, the dogs were totally DONE, Will had to get out of the stroller and walk, while the dogs took a ride.  Once Will got tired of walking too, we found a way to get all 3 of them in the stroller at once - this was our solution!!

Testing the Waters

Don has been toying with the idea of buying a boat because he has such wonderful memories of the boats his parents had when he was growing up, SOOOOOOO we decided to rent one to test out the waters of boat ownership.  We wanted to be sure Will would enjoy it and that it would be something our family would do enough of the time to make ownership worth it.  Well, we discovered that Will is a HUGE fan.  We should have known, since he is a fan of EVERYTHING that has to do with WATER.  I only snapped one shot that turned out post-worthy, on our first boat adventure.

A Trip to the Nutt House

Well, not quite a Nutt house, but as we fondly refer to it, The Nutt Resort! We had a wonderful Memorial weekend in Duncan with Uncle Don and Aunt Jerri. Nini joined us on our adventures this weekend.   I don’t believe Will has ever been more tired after each day of fishing, 4 wheeling, swimming, meeting the horses and cows and running around all 700+ acres of the Nutt Resort!!

Last Day

We have been so blessed to have WONDERFUL teachers for Will's first year in MDO at CLC!! He had such a fun year and learned SO much! I am so excited that he has learned his alphabet, can identify every letter and the sounds that each letter makes! He can count and identify all numbers to 15, identify his primary geometric shpaes and has memorized his first bible verse.  We could not be more proud of our little man!!
Thank you so very much for all your love and support, Ms Amy, Ms Jessica and Ms Courtney!!

Great Grandparents!

Will's GREAT GRANDPARENTS (my father's parents) came to Dallas this weekend to support our family during Papa's memorial service.  I am still amazed that at 96 years of age, my grandfather can drive from San Angelo, TX for a weekend getaway!
I believe they will out-live us all!!
Nona was giving Will his first photography lesson!

Will and Grady are such good buddies! Grady could not be more proud of his great grandson!!
I was a bit too late catching this hug, Will was distracted by something else by the time I got the shot.

Swim Lessons

We began swim lessons this month.  This fun practice time is getting us ready for Summer Time!! Will reviewed much of what he learned from last year as a refresher, and added a few new tricks up his sleeve! We are ready to practice what we have learned this summer!  Here are a few snapshots of his lessons with Ms. Sally.

Swimming on his own, his very favorite activity.
He had such a blast swimming with his buddy Garrett this week!
Back Floating: Probably Will's least favorite swimming activity, but he sure is getting good at it!

Jumping off the board! Will looked forward to this all winter because he had such a fun time with it last year; however, it was a bit more intimidating than he remembered! He ended up jumping, although it took quite a bit of convincing from Mrs. Sally and Mommy!!!

Pappa

Last night, William's Papa went to live with Jesus in heaven.  As much as this time is sad for us left here on Earth, we have the assurance that Papa is in a better place, sitting at the feet of our Lord.  God reassures us through His word, Roman's 10:9 - That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has been raised form the dead, you will be saved.    We praise God, that Papa believed in his heart this TRUTH of salvation and therefore, we rest in assurance that God has given Papa, " The Crown Of Life" in heaven (Rev. 2:10). We look forward to seeing him again, when we too are able to see Jesus face to face.

Papa, you will be missed because you were such a special person in all of our lives!

Jumpin' and a Swingin'

This weekend we had the good fortune to spend time with friends at two different gymnastic birthday parties!  Even though it totally wore Mom out chasing Will alll around the gym, Will had a FABULOUS time!!  His favorite part was the swing.  He loved swinging back and forth and then falling into the pit of foam cubes!   I loved watching him run, climb, jump and tumble until he completely wore himself out!!I think we'll need to take a gymnastics class this summer. :)
Swing Down
Swing back!
JUMP!!!
Climb out to do it all over again!!

Jumping on the trampoline was soooo much fun!!!!
Sorry about the quality of the pictures, I took them with my phone, so it was difficult to catch him while he was bouncing.
