Pumpkin Weekend: Day 2 - Scare on the Square

Day 2: Scare on the Square was a fun adventure!
We have learned from years past, arrive early and secure an outside table upon arrival.  Thanks to great teamwork from all the grandparents - goal accomplished! We had a fabulous dinner at Spoons and took turns taking Our sweet Tigger around to each store Trick or Treating! He had so much fun meeting many of the store owners and collecting candy.

Will was absolutely precious and practiced his manners while he trick-or-treated!  Each time he was sure to say, "Trick Or Treat" and "Thank you".  It was to adorable to watch him be sure to thank each and every person that gave him candy....even if they weren't ready to listen--he was sure they heard him, no matter how long it took!!

Cookie Party

What is quickly becoming an annual tradition at the Jenning's household is cooking decorating playdates.  This is the first one of the season and what adorable kiddos came to play!! Thank you dear friends for sharing this special play time with us!

Let the Pumpkin Weekend Begin: Day 1 - Pumpkin Patch

Wow! We are packing in the pumpkin festivities this weekend.  Daddy is out of town, so we are jamming our weekend full of fun festivities to keep our minds off of missing him.  Our adventures began Thursday with a trip to the Pumpkin Patch with our good friends the Pfetenreuters!  Of course, Will had to climb on and ride everything that he could....so one of his first stops was the riding tractor.
Next to cars, animals are the next most important ingredient in a good adventure, according to Will, so we fed and pet goats, cows, and chickens.

The boys had so much fun together.  This is the best picture I could get of the two of them.....there is no doubt that these are two healthy, little boys....never sitting still for more than an instant!!

This pumpkin was too heavy to carry, so Big Will decided to roll it across the Pumpkin Patch....good thinking........my problem solver!!

Of course, more things to hop on and ride on.

The hay ride was a HUGE hit....of course, couldn't get a picture of both boys sitting still at the same time....twice in one day would have been a miracle.!! :)  Thanks P Family for sharing the special day with us....two years in a row....I like this pumpkin tradition!! Looking forward to next year.

Someone is NOT ready for Summer to be over

So here is a short video clip of my little man who does not want swimming season to end!! I was in the back doing a bit of pool maintenance and watering the flowers when he decided that the pool felt good enough to swim in! Keep in mind this is October and he was dressed appropriately for the weather -- sweat pants!

A Trip to the Zoo

We went to the Ft Worth Zoo and had so much fun!! I don’t think that I have ever been there before, at least not that I remember. Will had a blast and we were ALL EXHAUSTED when the day was through.

Will had been looking forward to the elephants more than any other animal there!

I think Will took the longest examining the crocodile, alligator and the Kimono Dragon. DSC_0027

Mom and Dad like the primates the most….they weren’t doing enough to spark Will’s attention for too long. DSC_0031 DSC_0036

Of course, we had to ride the train…DSC_0041

and the carousel.

I love this picture!

It was a spectacular day all in all!!

So Talented!

I am super proud of our little man today, he made breakfast for all of us, almost entirely on his own today! He is growing up so quickly!!Chef Will made blueberry muffins (I only helped him measure out the ingredients and he did the rest).

He then made us a peach and banana smoothie!

We had a marvelous breakfast !!

The best part about cooking --- is eating!!
